Rheological Properties of Coal-Water Suspension with Anionic Surfactant and Ethylene-Propylene Oxide Block Copolymers
Abstract
The rheological properties of coal-water suspension with three kinds of anionic surfactant and nonionic ethylene-propylene oxide block copolymers have been investigated by the method of rotation viscometry. Decrease on viscosity of coal-water suspension occurred above critical micelle concentration in the case of individual usage of block copolymers. The lowest values of effective viscosity were observed for systems obtained with block copolymer Genapol PF-80 and HLB=25. The usage of mixtures of anionic and nonionic surfactants for the preparation of aqueous suspension of coal promotes greater reduction of viscosity than that of individual agents.References
