Bioactive Composites Based on Silica-Gelatin Matrix and Extracts of Magnolia Leafs
Abstract
Aqueous-ethanol extracts of Magnolia sieboldi K.Koch., Magnolia kobus DC. Engl., Magnolia soulangeana Soul.-Bod., Magnolia stellata (Sieb.et Zucc.) Maxim leafs have been obtained, antioxidant potential of the extracts has been evaluated. The bioactive composites based on the extracts and silica-gelatin matrix have been prepared. The swelling of the composites and desorption of the antioxidants to aqueous medium (water) have been tested.
