Abstract

Application of bis-trifluorsulphonimide as ion-forming additive to study of proteins (lisozyme and insulin) by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization technique was investigated. It has been shown that in the case of lisozyme interaction occurs with anions while in the case of insulin - with cations of ion-forming additive. It has been concluded that interaction between proteins and ion-forming additive has a specific character. Thus, the technique may be proposed as alternative approach to biomolecules investigations.
